Holly Tree Cottage dates back to the 17th century. The period charm of the beams, antique furnishings, paintings, ornaments and fresh flowers combine with the modern comforts to create a feeling of warmth and friendliness. Picturesque gardens with a patio created from local stone, water features which include a well which supplied water in times gone by, create areas to sit and relax, enjoy a cup of tea, a drink or maybe a picnic, with stunning views over the countryside into the distance. Orchard, paddock and pasture with walks, wildlife and extensive views over open countryside. Breakfasts are a speciality. The cottage provides double, twin and family accommodation with en suite and private facilities, televisions, radio/alarms, hair dryers, and hospitality trays and there is a comfortable lounge. Hearty traditional or vegetarian breakfasts are prepared on the Aga cooker. Freshly prepared fruit salad and home-made preserves are a speciality. All are served in the attractively beamed dining room. Local pubs and nearby restaurants are recommended. Stratford-upon-Avon offers the world renowned Theatres and Shakespearean Properties. Close by are the historic towns of Warwick, with is magnificent mediaeval castle and the beautiful Cotswold villages, National Trust Properties, Stately Homes and fine Gardens. The National Exhibition Centre, National Indoor Arena, Symphony Hall and Royal Showground are all approximately ½ hour away by car.
