Laurel Farm is a lovely old farmhouse standing in 4 acres on a quiet lane away from the main road. The majority of the land is grazing for my pet sheep, goat and livery horses or ponies. Dogs, cats, ducks and chickens are also kept. Most of the animals have actually been rescued. All rooms are well furnished and spacious with their own facilities. An excellent breakfast menu is offered and where possible only fresh local produce is used and our own free-range eggs.
Stanton on the Wolds is a very small village but is convenient for Nottingham, Melton Mowbray, Leicester and Loughborough. All Nottinghamshire's sporting venues are within a very short driving distance. Laurel Farm is not just a no smoking house but is for total non-smokers only. None of the cats or dogs are allowed in the main house and therefore all rooms are asthma and allergy friendly.
