Paignton is in the heart of the English Riviera where the palm trees grow, and the Clifton, a green hotel, committed to the environment, is just where you need to be to enjoy this fabulous area with its multitude of activities and attractions - enough to keep you busy for a couple of weeks, and still have to come back for more! Coastal walking, numerous golf courses and sea fishing trips from the harbour, our first class Zoo (you have to see it to know what Zoos should be like), Quay West Water Park, Babbacombe Model Village - a positive delight for all age groups, and Kent's Cavern, to name but a few - all (except perhaps the golf courses) comfortably accessible by public transport.

Whilst breakfast is included in our price, you have the option to book our superb home cooked evening meals, lovingly produced by Steve who uses fresh organic produce whenever possible, and caters for special diets.
